Fred sends me a text message at like 9AM yesterday morning telling me not to eat anything big because he wants to go out to dinner. Unfortunately, he's realized that if I eat ANYTHING, I'm not hungry later in the day, especially around dinner time, for anything substantial. So whatever, I ask him where he's taking me, and he tells me Outback.
So I drooled for 8 hours and told Eboney that she was forbidden to let me order anything other than one side of fries, because I have to have lots of room for dinner tonight. By the end of the day, I'm near ready to pass out, I'm so hungry. So I drive down to Manayunk and get changed at Fred's. He parallel parked my car for me since unfortunately, I'm incompetent. We drove to Outback. He hadn't eaten all day either, so we were both like, foaming at the mouth when the waitress put the bread down on the table. We ate our salads, which were good. I ate both of our tomatoes, and some of my lettuce cucumbers and croutons. He kept teasing me that I was going to be full before the food got here.
He was impressed. I didn't need the heimlich this time. I devoured most of my steak. I had to stop eating because I promised his mom I'd bring back some leftovers for her. But ... wow. Steak is good, I always forget that.
Then we went back to his house, gave his parents their food, and watched the Flyers game. Well ... I tried to convince him that I'm more important than the Flyers. It didn't quite work. He told me if they lost, I had to sleep on the couch. Thank God they won, haha. But I'm impressed, hockey's kind of cool to watch. Especially the shoot-out at the end. That was awesome.
I'm so happy. It's kind of gross. But I don't mind.
