(no subject)
I am going to start a blog for my cat, because I've noticed a lot of people making cat blogs (Maru, for instance) and my cat is at least as cool as them, though he doesn't so much do tricks as he does just sit around and/or be annoying.
He is Alex P. Kitten, Conservative Commentator. His interests include getting fussy when we watch MSNBC, writing unrequited love letters to my leg, and interrupting our intimate times because he doesn't believe in sex before marriage.
I am also thinking seriously of buying him a walking jacket so that I can take him on walks. Basically, I am going to take this crazy cat lady thing as far as I can without getting infected with Toxoplasmosis.
Other projects: I am going to record an album on garageband, all by myself, and it's going to be totally lo-fi (obvs.) the problem is that I've been away from my guitar for so long I'm all sluggish and uncoordinated, and after being sick for so long and having a wretched cough and smoking all those cigarettes, my vocal range is pathetic.
WHY IS IT SO COLD EVERYWHERE. wtf. Manitees in Florida are migrating to warmer waters and congregating in giant herds. Manitees, I love you, but you really didn't evolve with any natural enemies, did you? Also, Chimpanzees at northern zoos have apparently been given burlap sacks and hay to keep warm.
...burlap sacks and hay? for 20 degree weather and over a foot of snow? Hey, zookeepers. The chimps asked me to give you a message. :::flings poop:::
seriously, how do animals at zoos keep warm when it gets cold? So many of those animals are warm-weather animals. And it's not like they can keep elephants inside. I have always, always been puzzled by this. Does anybody know what the deal is?
applications are almost done. Only one more to go: Syracuse. I have three new guitar lessons scheduled for the next week. Katy Bonner says her dad might be able to find me a job. The Human Society has finally gotten back to me about volunteering, and Guitars Not Guns continues this sunday. Bryan and I have been playing the new Wii games. also I made a few friends in Austin who live in DC and hopefully we will hang out? weird that I have to come all the way home to find people to hang out with in DC. thems the bones I guess.
How many movies does Sam Rockwell gratuitously show his bare ass in? By my count, two. but then I haven't seen every movie Sam Rockwell's every made.
I am sleepy and not making much sense, I think. time to nap.
