(no subject)
Lily and Carmen came over last weekend to watch horror movies and play computer games together. :D We watched Ju On and Nightmare On Elm Street, which are awesome stuff! Ju On is just plain fucking creepy and psychologically disturbing. Johnny Depp was SO young in Elm Street, none of us knew it was him playing as one of the boyfriends until we got a closeup and saw Depp's trademark woeful soulful eyes. In which we promptly screamed for 5 minutes to regain composure before continuing on with the movie. I've noted that I've gotten more immune to watching horror movies now, not as scared as I use to be. There was one point where I was in the bathroom and Carmen put on the Elm Street theme song right outside the bathroom door and I'm pretty sure I told her to fuck off. :P
After the movie I decided I want to dress up as Freddy Kreuger for Halloween. Actually, I just really want a big red and black sweater like his. *v* I'm not sure who I want to dress up as for Halloween this year. I was originally contemplating on Mandy from Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, but I'm not sure how to do her hair... I'm sidetracking for now, this debate is for another time!
Later we played a bit of Sims Medieval and Amnesia. Amnesia seems really cool but I don't think I dare to play that alone or at night time which is why I didn't get a copy of the game from Carmen. ;_; It was voted best atmospheric game of 2010 for a reason. Though I did pirate Sims Medieval for my own when they left and I felt so proud of myself, cause - first pirated game!! I am becoming a full fledged pirate. *sniffs*
After the gaming session we watched a bit of Shaun of the Dead (horror comedy, it's AMAZING, who would've thought that combination could work?!) and I also ended up watching two episodes of Doctor Who in which I HAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO SAID FANDOM. Damn BBC, the 11th doctor is too irresistibly cute and adorable! I really really want to draw the 11th all tangled up in wires and just, ughhhh.
So. My friends are coming over again on this coming Saturday for a sleepover. :D Oh god I have a feeling we'll stay up late screaming over more scary movies. Hee! Looking forward to it. I haven't had a sleepover since middle school, I believe.
Ked (cheeseonthemoon ) and I (as Dom) are getting married in Audi tomorrow. I know I sent out invites but we kept changing the dates so I have no clue if everyone's updated or not. Oh well. XD
Okay, not really. ): I tried going Killjoy but I guess it didn't work too well, nor did I have red hair. Kei's more of the Black Parade and older version of MCR... ish.
I've been slowly cleaning my room lately, bit by bit. I've discovered that I have like 10 sketchbooks? In which half of them are filled. And three DIY craft books. And piles upon piles of doodles on old assignments back when I was in middle and high school. I'm kind of contemplating on making a scrapbook of my old doodles since my doodles are typically tiny and saving an entire page of it is kind of consuming in terms of space. I also need to buy a graphite fixture (or just a fixture, really) so my drawings won't smudge when I put them away. The graphite I use now, though dark, is really soft so it rubs off easily. Best current example of potentially smudgy artwork is the one where Ryan runs into a dark alley. Ked told me to put tracing paper between each picture but I think I wanna try a fixture first since my drawings typically smudge onto the next page, leaving a shadowy imprint of the original on the opposite page.
Anyway, this was the best drawing I found in my piles of doodles. :D

ETA: Oh god I really need to start picking my courses for the 2011-2012 school year. Real paleontology courses, here I comeeeee!
