SPELLS
Because we don't expect players to know all about the Harry Potter world, nor do we intend them not to expand it to their own interests, we allow characters to submit their own spells and potions! Please keep in mind, by submitting you are keeping it open to all other members to use if they please. Player-submitted spells can be found

Spell Type: Charm
Incantation: Transmittus et Linkis
Description: This charm was created to be used for long distance communication and works much like the Muggle Walkie-talkie. It can be used on any inorganic object, usually something small and easily maneuvered because the audio output is hushed so that it can only be heard when it's held close to an ear. The charm was originally created to be used as a way for paired soldiers to communicate with each other, but has since become more popular with people that use it for less serious things.
The charm is cast by tapping the wand to one object while saying the 'Transmittus' part of the incantation, and then touching the wand to the object that will be linked to it when the 'Linkis' part is said. It is possible to link more objects together and to cast the charm without a wand, but only by the most advanced charm workers. The charm activates when first touched by a wizard and for as long as the charm holds only that wizard can activate it to send messages, but anyone can hear incoming transmissions so long as they can get close enough to listen. Activation to send a transmission is achieved by touching the spot that was first touched after the spell was cast.
