Oh can you feel the gravity falling, calling us home?
Oh did you see the stars colliding? Shining just to show,
We belong.
The bench is cold now. Kurt stretches (it takes a while, the curse of super flexibility means that you have to super stretch too) and then looks over at his companion on the bench.
Miria is sitting straight as a poker, like she always does. There's nothing on her face which indicates that she's in any way concerned, interested or anxious about the fact that the train they've been waiting for is over two hours late.
But Kurt has known her long enough to see past what's projected on her face and sees that she's thinking of what might have happened. Thinking of trying to find out for herself.
When the train pulls in to the station half an hour later, Kurt gives the two women a minute before he joins them to congratulate Galatea on her safe return to London. She and he loudly discuss just how Miria's been worried out of her mind at the lateness of the train, and Kurt feels at ease now that Galatea is back to fill that space in all their lives.
(No, I don't know where Galatea went or why she was on a train. .____.)
