Seifer, still feeling the high of being accepted as someone like a significant other to Mai, had spent the afternoon laughing and sharing some experiences with his Gryffindor friend Ren Honjo. He was on his way out to take a late night run and enjoy the adrenaline rush of his newfound happiness. Although he was able to be a bully to many others, including a new one he found at the library lighting fires the other night, he was able to take pleasure in his relationship with someone he viewed as "real" in a place of mystery. Sure, she's gloomy, pessimistic, and difficult at times, but if a guy as handsome as me can make her smile, who's to stop me from enjoying it? Luckily, they were able to talk to each other long enough to understand exactly what they wanted from each other after he had admitted to some mishaps on his behalf.
One of these "mishaps" included a sexually driven misadventure with their arch nemesis, Larxene. Ending with a broken heart and a passion for vengeance, Seifer later retailiated with an onslaught on Larxene in the Slytherin Common Room. Since then, the two had made efforts to see less and less of each other. However, Seifer was curious whether or not Larxene knew of his relationship with Mai since it had come up. Larxie must've noticed my journal entry. It's not like her to be quiet when I'm happy.
Regardless, Seifer made a mental effort not to let it bother him. That was...until he had returned to the place where he had last interacted with Larxene.
