Under the lowered sun, Naruto waited, his wand held loosely in one hand and other hand shielding his eyes from the sun. Waiting.
"Ne," he said, to no one in particular, "We haven't done this for a while, but I'm gonna beat him!" All thoughts of the time in between their first fight in the year and this one vanished, replaced by a driving determination.
