Sometimes, siblings were like a buzz kill to a good melody. )
During that time, Kristoph gave up waiting around in his office for his miscreant brother, and finally set about actually getting things done with the time allotted to him. If Klavier wasn't going to show up, Kristoph didn't need to waste his time waiting around.
The older of the two men was sitting at his desk when he heard shuffling outside the door. Wondering vaguely if a student needed him or if this was finally his brother, Kristoph set aside the paper he'd been looking over and stood. Walking to the door, he finally pulled it open to see who it was, and was greeted by his brother.
Kristoph fixed Klavier with an unimpressed stare. "Indeed. Won't you join me? I was beginning to think you'd decided to stand me up."
If that had been the case, Klavier would have received an earful.

"You office...it's very, hm, clean." He noted, looking at the orderly office. It was immaculate compared to his own, which was more a collection of assorted unpacked boxes than an office. Then again he shouldn't have expected any different, order was always something that came packaged with Kristoph.

Out of all the people he knew, Kristoph was the hardest on Klavier. This was mainly because he'd practically raised his younger brother, teaching him life lessons and trying to instill in him a respect for people and the law. With any luck, some of those lessons would remain with Klavier (he knew law had at least, as Klavier had become a prosecutor), though it seemed the one about being punctual had failed miserably.
Kristoph held the door open for Klavier to walk through, shutting it when both brothers were inside. The office was decorated in black and white, mostly white, though, with black furniture. Everything was completely spotless, accentuating Kristoph's near obsession with keeping things orderly in his life. Stepping back around his brother, he motioned to a set of black leather rolling chairs off to one side.
"Of course." Kristoph answered his brother's first words with an adjustment of his glasses as he took a seat in one of the chairs. "Would you like something to drink while we're here? It's been so long since we spoke, I'm not sure if your tastes have changed." His last words were punctuated with a smile, genuine as far as almost anyone could tell, though Klavier could probably see a difference, considering he'd known Kristoph years ago. If one knew someone well once, they'd be able to spot even the slightest difference.
