How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labelled with the year and class. Remember that presentation that Bruce asked for at the beginning of class? Well, the minute everyone's seated, he promptly opens the forum and students're expected to discuss their findings in a short 3 minute (he changed his mind) talk. Any longer? Wellll... he might be generous, but he usually just asks for them to go back to their seats

He's still not doing much of anything this time: occasionally, he'll read the papers and grade them, but he's more interested in the worn automobile magazines his son handed him recently.

Still, his office door's propped wide open, so stop by! He won't mind a conversation or two.

Well, hello handsome. Grell is going to slink into his office much like a diva and take a seat in the most comfortable thing he can find, even if it is Bruce's desk.

Hello there! Bruce blinks before looking up at Grell and smiling at her (him? he's not very sure and he knows better than to ask). Maybe she'd like a seat on his leather couch? He assures Grell it's much more comfortable than his wooden desk.

As he gets up to offer her a class of wine, Bruce introduces himself as Bruce Wayne, the new Muggle Studies professor. And she would be...? (He already knows, being Batman, but that's besides the point.)

Had Grell been called a him, he might've bristled a little and he was quite use to getting his way. The desk is quite comfy but if he's offering the leather couch he'll be more than happy to plop onto it. And wine?! In school? He's a fit of giggles as he takes one, crossing his legs and leaning back like a composed woman would.

He certainly knows how to charm a lady.. Grell Sutcliffe, the Theatre Arts professor and Head of Slytherin.

He'll press his fingers to his lips and say that it's his little secret on how he got a bottle in. Oddly enough, he only has a sip of his own wine glass.

It's a pleasure to meet her! And her class must be interesting too. He might have to sit in on a class one day.

He won't tell anyone as it is a treat to have a little bit within the campus. Grell is going to sip at his own, trying to appear discreet. He's easily read like a book that he is enjoying it.

Grell's body tingles and he wiggles on the spot at the suggestion. He'd be delighted to have him in his class. Grell is admiring his physical form. He must work out a bit. Most Muggle Studies he's met aren't all snappy looking.

Bruce really won't mind if she wants more! He'll even say so.

Heh, Bruce notices that look, but he won't comment on it. Instead, he says that he'd have to ask for times when his children aren't in it. You see... he sorta-kinda has five children here at Hogwarts currently. (Cassandra being the one child without a journal.) And if he wants to sit on a class, he wants to make sure his brood isn't around.

Grell inches a little closer at the prospect of more wine and offers his glass for just that idea.

Oh, that makes Grell curious. He loves to watch all his babies -- which include the whole student body in his mind - shine gloriously with their performances. He'll ask why if he can. If it's personal he'll just tuck the question back for later.

It's nothing personal, actually; Bruce just embarrasses his children when he's around. He'd watch them if they were in a play, but he'd rather not get a private audience for their sake. He'll openly admit this without problems.

Aw, how cute. The Brucey doesn't want to embarrass his little ones. Very well. He'll see if he can arrange some time at that. Or perhaps if there is a play eventually or some way of watching without being there.

Although he could have easily winged the presentation, Jason hopes that Bruce notices the little extra effort he put into it. He actually researched. See? He doesn't regard your class as a waste of time.

Jason is still in amused disbelief at this professor thing, though.

That's actually pretty impressive! :> Bruce notices for sure, even if it's only acknowledged by an eyebrow raise, but doesn't say so simply because... it's his son. The last thing he wants is to show favoritism.

Once the lecture's over and the students're busy filling out vocab sheets, Bruce wanders over to Jason's desk and asks him how his other classes went (or will go, if he hasn't had them yet).

Ah crap, and now he's looking like some teacher's pet. Jason shoots him a look that clearly says Daaaaaaad, why are you ruining my street cred life?

He makes up some deliberately obvious lie about how he's totally ditched all his classes.

Bruce just shoots him a look back that says, I have no idea what you're talking about. Especially since um, none of the other Hufflepuffs seem to care.

SOMEHOW he managed to slip a "see me note" in this short amount of time too.
