This is a song for a son

Dec 29, 2010 20:58

WHO: Bruce Wayne & Tim Drake; Closed
LOCATION: Bruce's office & quarters
WEEK: 74
TIME: Shortly after Bruce & Tim arrive; probably mid-morning to early afternoon
WHAT: Bruce's unpacking all of his stuff! Tim, being the good son, is helping out.
RATING: G

Some people considered Bruce crazy for moving across the pond so suddenly. Honestly, Bruce didn't know what he was doing some nights. Giving up his city to Babs and Helena and other Gothamites while he taught here in the UK? Preposterous. They couldn't keep up with his city like he could. They didn't know her like he did. And yet, he had to remind himself, he was here. Unpacking his things with his son.

Tim had been sorted into Ravenclaw. A good house, Bruce had to think, and one that perfectly suited his son. (Yes. Tim was pretty much his son in everything but name, even if Bruce didn't say it out loud.)

Carefully unpacking another box with his hands, Bruce glanced over at him. "You think you'll like it here?" He asked Tim, setting a family portrait down on his desk. "It's... certainly different from Salem."
