You're stuck with her for at least half of the day, or more. playinmygarden October 19 2010, 14:52:07 UTC
Ren had promised her guitar lessons, and Nana was grateful for it. She didn't have a natural talent for it like Ren and Nobu, but she always wanted to learn. The reasons behind it were mostly selfish. She wanted to learn so she could make herself a better singer. Sometimes she felt guilty asking Nobu to write something for her, even though she knew he didn't mind at all.

Just like the rockstar Nana was (or was going to be), she needed her beauty rest. At least, that's what she liked to call it. She had been sleeping in a lot since Hachi left. It was just after noon when Nana finally made her way to the Music Room.

She poked her head through the door and watched as Ren played. It was always nice to hear. There was always something when he played the guitar, but Nana could never place a finger on what it was.

A break in his strumming gave her a chance to walk in and say, "Hey."

It was good she asked Nobu to write songs for her. That was how he was able to get better so quickly. Ren had been playing a lot longer than Nobu had, mostly because the reason Nobu started learning was because of Ren, so the fact that he was able to improve as fast as he could was nothing short of impressive.

Ren managed to catch her voice over his playing and, strumming out one last chord, he turned to see Nana waiting by the door. "Hey."

Nine hours of FUN~ playinmygarden October 20 2010, 00:29:25 UTC
She pulled up a chair and sat across from Ren. Nana didn't really know what to expect with Ren as a teacher. He wasn't exactly the greatest student in the world, so this would probably be interesting.

"That was nice," she told him with a smile. She sat back in her chair and crossed her legs. "Maybe I could put some words to it later."

Just because he couldn't listen that well to people talking about stuff of no interest to him didn't mean he couldn't talk about what he did know about. It wasn't the first time he helped someone with guitar lessons and Nana knew music well enough that this wouldn't be near impossible hopefully. Still not sure where she stood at the moment.

"Thanks," Ren grinned, "Feel free to write something for it. Best to be done by someone who knows what they're doing." Lyrics were never his strong suit. He maybe wrote one full set of lyrics in his life that he thought was decent. Everything else he attempted either sounded like an anarchist's anthem or a trashy ballad and were tossed into a fire before the world could ever see them.
