WELCOME TO OUR OOC CLASS LOG!

How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labelled with the year and class. He's sitting cross-legged on his desk. The Shuckle is floating happily around his head, and instead of his usual sort of 'I-don't-want-to-be-here' attitude, the air he's giving off is sort of pensive.

He clears the desks out of the way with a negligent wave and summons some comfortable chairs and beanbags instead. Today, he's less about the talking and more about the listening. He wants to know what your views on Mental Magic are. The ethics and morality of being able to enter a person's mind, when is it okay and when isn't it, who should be able to do it, if anyone, and how should it be regulated.

However, if he does pay attention, he might notice that they're both speaking the language of the Shuckle in conspiratorial tones, with the Corphish chiming in. Occasionally, Ed will switch to the language of the Corphish.

Shelly headbutts her gently (possibly this is more a case of Kyp moving the thing than Shelly himself), and chatters away in greeting.

Second one's probably the best, although the third one's pretty good too. Dont read the prequels.

Like he's been sitting on the floor in the same position for the last two hours. Meditation yey. What about her?

Ah. Perhaps he should take a break in that case. She's fine. Finally finished up her work.

The author tried to shoehorn in all the characters from the original trilogy, and the story doesn't make much sense

He would, if he thought he could move from this spot without seizing up. He grins at her, then. In time for the next lot, then?

Oh. That's mildly disappointing, actually. There isn't much merit to the prequels at all, or are they a lost cause?

She stares for a second, a little taken back by the grin before she smiles. And how does he expect to get up later on, if he continues to sit in the same position?

Alyss groans softly. Who would have thought being the queen of a damaged country and a professor would provide so much work. And yes, that was sarcasm in her voice.

He looks at her for a moment before unfolding himself (without effort lmao) from the ground. Sounds like she's the one who needs the meditation more than he does.

Oh, fft. She shakes her head. No, she has never quite understood the point of the sitting quietly and contemplating the universe. In any case, she's fine.

It's not necessarily about contemplating the universe. Meditation's good for clearing your head and getting a new perspective on things and dear god he sounds like a Jedi Master rn. Brb being horrified.
