WELCOME TO OUR OOC CLASS LOG!

How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labelled with the year and class. HERBOLOGY YEARS 6-7

Nanao radiates an aura of intensity as she waits for the classes to gather and shut up. Herbology, boys and girls, is serious. buisness.

Once you have all stopped talking, she will announce a pop quiz on the material you should have covered so far (you can thank Naoto if there's anything in there you haven't studied).

Once you've passed or failed (you can choose which, just remember Nanao's a harsh marker!) Nanao will direct your attention to your textbooks and the chapters on flesh-eating trees. You'll be studying them and if your flesh is eaten Nanao will not feel one iota of sympathy for you.

As a warm up to trees, students will be feeding flesh-eating cabbages today. Feel free to work in pairs, don't be shy about feeding them (there's no such thing as over-feeding one of these things) and WEAR YOUR GLOVES.

After Class

Nanao will be watering her own plants in her office. Yes, that one in the corner does have huge teeth, try to avoid it. You'll notice that apart from the plants, everything else is still in boxes.

Ed will beam and that smile on her face? That's only going to spell trouble in the future. Or more pictures for Nanao. Or both.

Does Plant-Teacher like plant creatures too? Has she ever seen a Venusaur? Ed has seen a Venusaur! One comes to visit Ed from the forest but Grounds-Teacher (Basch) doesn't let Ed play with him... That last part is said with a pout.

Nanao prefers actual plants to flora-related animals such as Venusaur. She'd like to emphasise that Ed should always be very careful when near fully grown ones as they can injure people severly if they feel threatened.

Ed will nod, as if she's hanging onto every word said - though in all likely hood she's not really absorbing that advice, and give Nanao an Ed grin. Ed is always nice to Venusaur and Venusaur is nice to Ed!

Venusaur is also a good dancer. :D

"I'm not scared of a cabbage..." Edward says, looking over his shoulder...he nearly jumps out of his skin when the thing latches onto his finger, "AH!" He yells and whops it on the head out of instinct, pulling his hand back, "It THIS not ME!!" He says and feeds it.

Nanao will not facepalm. No. That would be undignified.

She sighs instead. "Please put on your gloves, Mr Elric. You have already been told once." She also makes a mental note to check that finger at the end of class, to make sure it won't get infected.

Ataru barely passes. He also barely manages to avoid having his flesh eaten by the cabbages. At least he's WEARING HIS GLOVES while feeding the things.

Hmph. He may or may not be added to Nanao's list of people who require additional classes.
She is relieved that he's wearing his gloves, though she does wonder if it's luck or some kind of divine providence that means he still has all his skin at the end of class.

It's more likely that his luck is causing the cabbages to seem more interested in eating him than the others. He's actually following all the proper procedures in feeding them.

Nanao suppresses the thought that research needs to be done into the type of flesh or blood type which these cabbages are attracted to. No. She has enough things to do already.
