Who: Nana (
playinmygarden), Nobu (
justcannotwin), Hime (
halcyon_hime), and open to anyone who cares to wander by.
What: Music is therapy for depression.
Where: The lake.
When: After Nana's
post.
Nana took her time getting to the lake, all the while speaking to Nobu through the journals. He was worried about her, which was nice, but she also thought that he was worried she'd do something drastic-- which she wasn't going to.
It just felt like her heart sank to the bottom of her chest. Hachi was gone, without a word. Just a note left on her empty bed with Nana's name written on it. She felt like she couldn't breathe as her eyes scanned the words that faded to single letters, and then to just a blur. Was this the way Hachi felt when she had left without saying anything? Was this the way the rest of them felt?
She lit a cigarette as she approached the lake and sat down at the edge of its banks. She was hoping fresh air would help. Maybe Ren was right. Maybe she should sing. That's why she asked Nobu to bring his guitar. It could be the release she needed.
