Browsing the books in the library, Toboe pauses at the sound of purring. Turning to find where it was coming from, he completely forgot what he was there for. Moving through the bookshelves, Toboe looks down each row, making sure he doesn't pass what's making that noise.

Seeing stacks of books not too far in front of him, Toboe moves around the stacks of books, trying to get a peek of what it was before he looked over.

Finally seeing a tail, his eyes go up the tail, until he sees a boy. Well...that makes sense. "Um...do you need any help?"

Said tail shot up in surprise when a voice breaks through his little book fort. Looks like he'd been doing it again, he really needed to get this feline blood under control. He looked to the left... books. The right? Books. Up! "A-ah, no, I'm okay. Just catch up on some stuff, was I disrupting your studies?" His ears drooped in shame, resting flat against his head.

ACK! Sorry! I've been majorly busy...

"Not really. I was just wondering, since you had all these books, if you needed any help." He was avidly watching those ears while talking to Ritsuka, Granny just taught him not to be rude and point those things out. Besides, he didn't seem to do much better with his transformations.

Ritsuka gave a glance to the books surrounding him, w-wow, he hadn't realized he'd let it get so high. "A-ah, well I've been gone for awhile and I'm just trying to catch up on what I missed. I guess I did go a little overboard..." Scratches his head a bit then looks up at the boy. It was then that he noticed that he was staring.

"Ah... Those ..." Point to an ear. "I don't need help with." He said with a slight huff in his tone. Ears drooping some and tail giving a flicker, but it was understandable. "I've had these since I was born." He says sounding more relaxed again. After all it was quite strange, especially or someone that was probably new to the school.

The ears drooping probably bothered him more than it should...there wasn't any reason for him to be ashamed or anything...not when he couldn't even do a full transformation. "Umm...It's not all bad you know...it's actually kinda cool." Kneeling down to be eye level with the other boy, he tilted his head a little. "Are you an animagus?"

Granted, it'd be odd if he wasn't, but he wouldn't judge him.

Said ears perked back up when the boy knelt closer to him, more out of alert than anything before blinking up at him, looking a little confused then flustered at having his ears called 'cool'. "U-uh..." The insecurity was somewhat clear now but it was the next statement that seemed to make things click.

"Ooh you think I'm study- No, no, not that it wouldn't be kind of cool, but I really was born with these... they... run in my family. We're part Kakaclan." He explains with a small awkward smile.

Ahh, that...actually seemed kinda weird. Still, he wasn't one to judge what seemed weird or not. Doing that would just be mean and unfair, both to the boy and himself. Treat others as you want to be treated had been ingrained in him since a young age.

"Can you turn into a...a..." Looking a little closer at his ears and tail, he deduced that they must be cat appendages. "A cat?"
