Shalice sat at her desk after class, as usual, grading the tests she'd given her sixth years earlier that day. When she'd taken the job at Hogwarts, and indeed for some time after, she had considered grading the bane of her existence, akin to the mountains of paperwork she'd had to fill out after every Auror mission. But as time had gone on, and strange event after strange event had occurred at the school, Shalie began to view grading time as relaxing, something to do that didn't involve yelling at children, or battling magical monsters. It was easy, and it gave her time to tune out, for her mind to wander.
She did always welcome an interruption, though, provided it wasn't of the life-threatening variety.
