It was to be expected, wasn't it?
His whole purpose for even coming to Hogwarts in the first place was for Jaina.
It wasn't as though Zekk needed magical training. He didn't need this wand he had to buy, or this green and silver tie currently hanging over his shoulder, or the books he was going to need to bring around with him. He was already a Jedi, established in the Order, being Knighted in only a few months time. And thinking about that way made him feel a little creepy, that he was putting himself through so much to be near Jaina.
He'd even requested of the hat to be put in Slytherin when it had thought Zekk was better off in some other house.
And now here he was, walking through the dungeons to his new common room, new lodgings, with a somber she-wolf at his heels.
A somber talking she-wolf who called herself Taryn and seemed to enjoy calling him a fool.
Zekk was going to see Jaina, and he had absolutely no idea what he could say. He really was a fool. Taking a deep breath, he gave the password at the door and walked inside.
