The bustle of classes were over, not that Axel was every really bothered with the crowded hallways that class hours could provide at this school. He knew enough shortcuts that it was never really a problem. Still, the lack of students rushing to the next period meant he could take his time and go the long way around to Ravenclaw.
He preferred the long route to be honest, the shortcut was full of too many narrow hallways and twists and turns he would rather not navigate with a fox darting around his heels. He rolled his eyes and took a hopping step over the daemon as it dashed in front of his feet again. It was kind of cool, to be fair, but the fox could be so annoying when it wanted to be.
A few turns and a set of tower stairs later, and the Ravenclaw door was before them.
Well? Go on and get in there. This hall is boring. Yeah, that fox could definitely be annoying. He rolled his eyes and muttered the password before slouching into his friend's common room. She was never a hard one to find, either from her pink hair or from the fact she always tried to grab up her "usual" seat--and there she was like clockwork.
"Yo, Princess." He called out amongst the small amount of noise in common room as he made his way over to her. He barely drew any attention with it anymore given how often he stopped by over the years.
