"Alright, here it is...!"

He'd been apalled, of course, to find that Kanda had never been to Hogsmeade- seven whole years at the school and not a single trip down? Unthinkable! So of course he had to bring the other boy down to show him around- as well as to try and get him something for the ball. He turned to look up at his companion as he opened the door and stepped in, quirking a brow at him curiously.

"So...what sort of thing would you prefer to wear?"

This was his first time here, since he never had the need to go, nor the money due to lack of family. Looking around he just had to wonder, why so many items of clothing, simple was better, so why over do it.

"What sort of thing, something simple is usually my choice of what to wear, usually simple is better for what I do anyway, anything with too much is a little over the top."

"So... something simple then- alright, I think we can manage that much, yeah..?"

He put a hand to his chin thoughtfully and then began looking around. Finally, he picked a direction and pointed, smiling at Kanda nervously.

"Let's start over there and work our way over then- it'll be easier that way, I think..!"

Kanda just stared at the direction before walking in it glancing around at the place he's never been to before and after this properly never again afterwards.

He wasn't even sure what exactly it was he was meant to be looking for in the first place as he leaned over slightly, was there something he was meant to find or not, because right now he hadn't a clue, though he would never admit it.

"So what color would you like to wear? Is there a type of fabric you'd prefer?" Bridget asked, rifling through a rack of clothing and looking up at him curiously.

Of course, he wasn't entirely sure he'd get a direct answer- or even one that would imply Kanda knew what he should be getting. After all, the boy had been planning to attend in his everyday clothes.

Kanda folded his arms over his chest, not exactly understand what the difference between what fabrics you were, or even color, then again Kanda was not one to care about what he wore as long as it was there.

Not answering the question seemed the better option as he still had no clue of how anything worked here, though he was wondering if clothes shopping was something only girls would know more about than boys.

"I'll take that as 'no idea' and 'not a clue'," Bridget said with a sigh, holding out something in dark green fabric, looking up at him hopefully. "Ah... how about this then? Does it look alright?"

He raised an eye brow at the dark green thing and had to wonder who on earth though dark green was a good color, then he remembered he was in Slytherin and therefore he had to wear green every now and again as part of the uniform.

"Green is a color I wear everyday for school, I think I'd want to wear a different color for one day at least."
