"Aww, there's no need to be so rough with her." While terribly embarrassing as it was, the fox was pretty adorable. A feeling that her own Daemon made clear wasn't shared, but what did a snake know? Chao gave her friend a reluctant pout, but wasn't going to chide her friend over how she treated her own animal. Instead, she just gave Itanya a pleasant smile as she watch it flop itself behind its owner. W-was it licking its chops?
Though she may be in the bag, Stheno had fairly good vision from the tiny opening in the top. Whatever anger the Daemon felt for the previous disgrace, was nothing to livid hatred it felt now. She didn't even need to talk as the tempered hiss grew even louder, its incredible length pressing up against the length in the hopes it would snap. Unfortunately, her master made sure the bag was sturdy to decrease any random surprises.
"Erm, y-yes. yes it is." The inhabitants of Daemons was interesting to be sure, but there was just something really...uncomfortable of being given such an obvious Slytherin choice. There weren't really any good symbolism that came with the long reptile and Stheno's self-superiority attitude only confirmed her aversion.
"Pardon me a second." Chao quickly raised a finger before turning around to push down her Daemon's head as it just started to push itself from the opening in the bag.
"Stay in there and don't get so worked up!" Chao commanded with a glare at the bag. Besides, you always claim to be of higher standard than everyone else in this school, that should include temperament. Show some class.
"Amusing." The Cobra answered back, its voice and emotion anything but humored. "There's a difference between tolerance for actions of the inept and inbred, and outrage over openly devaluing our existence. I'm sure it won't happen again if we-"
No. Chao thought immediately, knowing full well what the Cobra wanted. She wasn't even going to entertain the notion further and turned back around toward Sei with a mild smile.
The snake only continued, its tone growing back into a more cruel confidence. "It would be pleasant to see it squirm and whimper as the life seeps from its wretched existence, no? I doubt even your female friend would miss such a foul aspect of herself. We would be doing her a service."
Chao wanted to frown at her daemon, but did nothing to show it. Instead, she focused more heavily on Sei. "S-so, what brings you out to Hogsmeade?"
"Oh. I think I made it mad," Itanya didn't sound remorseful in the least. "Or maybe it wishes to eat you... though not in the way you want to 'eat' its master."
Sei very pointedly ignored the fox. "Well, she's quite the handful. It's... sort of hard to be nice to something you have to live with agitating you day and night... and one that does not listen to your direction in the least, even though it can."
Sort of like a child, she didn't add. There were a few too many implications there, and besides, Itanya was doing it deliberately. Which reeked more of angry teenager-
And Sei stopped her thoughts dead on those tracks.
"Sounds so familiar, doesn't it human? And if you can't save me..."
"Ah, I've never actually really been here. Most of the times before I was busy studying. But now it seems I've got some more time to get out and about," she explained to Chao's question. Itanya was still being ignored, but now Sei looked a lot more tense.
"I suppose we both have issues with our daemons, don't we?" she just laughed, softly, shortly. "At least mine's pretty easy to calm down." She knelt down to grab the fox, pulling it up into her arms. "Or rather, to make it so she stops speaking. In any case, did you have anything you needed to be doing and wanted company for?"

"Then don't touch me~"
