Honeydukes Sweetshop - Open bloodycinematic June 15 2010, 07:54:52 UTC
With Sebastian not putting out the usual dish of sweets for him, or even responding to the most simplest of requests, Grell had to find his sweet fix elsewhere. Break could always provide a bon bon or two, but it was the real dishes that delighted him.

More than enough coin to fill his appetite, he pushed up his lavish coat and bent over the counter to look at all the sweets. Maybe some of the spinning cupcakes, or some delicious eclaries. He squee'ed over the tiny little cauldron cakes, especially looking at the one bubbling with red sweet filling. Oh, but the pumpkin pastries were especially beautiful. He couldn't make up his mind.

The raven on his shoulder perched there quietly, inspecting the treats below, giving advice mildly.

Chourou was wandering around Hogmeade. He had to explore the British magical village. He had enough money to spend.

He entered Honeydukes. There were so many unfamiliar treats. This place would give him great recipe ideas. The best things, he would send to his village.
He noticed a fellow teacher at the store. He hadn't learned most of the names. He decided to greet her/him.

"HELLO THERE, FELLOW TEACHER!" he said.

Grell nearly jumped out of his skin, even his raven cawing in surprised, the wings flailing before it settled with a glare in his direction. He smiled sheepishly and waved, looking at the odd man and laughed lightly.

"Oh. Hello, follow professor. Looking for something delicious?"

Chourou grinned at the cute raven as it glared at him. His puffskein didn't seem to have any reaction.
Chourou had the excitement of a kid in a candy store, despite it being more than half a century since anyone considered him a kid.

"All of these things are so interesting. Some of them might give me recipe ideas," he said. "So, which ones do you like?"

What an odd little pet, but he knew what it was. He smiled a little at the odd thing, waving his fingers oddly light it. Oh! The treats. He spun on a well placed heel and pointed down at the cauldron cakes, "These are one of my favorites. The spice cake of it is delicious." Pressing himself against the glass, his gloved finger extended towards the pumpkin ones too. then the ordinary muggle pastries, "Red velvet anything is my ultimate favorite."

The puffskein did a little shake in response to the wave.

"The spice one sounds good," he said."If I ever bake a red velvet cake, I'll have you try it."He was just starting to learn Western recipes. The cake sounded like a good thing to attempt.

He decided to purchase some cauldron cakes.
Pumpkin seemed to be an odd choice. He scratched his head a bit, while considering the sweets.

"Ah, pumkpkin! That's like the popular juice at Hogwarts!"

"It's delicious!" He put a little coin into the shop's hand and took the small bag with him. Opening it, he took a bite quickly, savoring the moist goodness of the cauldron cake. Spice was always a delightful taste to him, along with the smooth butter creme in the middle.

He squeed. Unmanly like.

"It is!"

Ah, someone must have baked that cake with love to get such a reaction from it. It can't be mass produced.

"Oooh, there's cream in the middle," he said, curious. The unmanly squeeing seemed reasonable to him. He would wait until later to try the spice cake. He looked thoughtful for a moment.

"I shall learn many recipes with pumpkin!" he suddenly declared, with flex of his muscles.

"What about candy?" he asked. "I want to send something to my grandson."

"Are those good?" he asked, pointing to the Fizzing Whizzbees.

A delightful noise left his lips, taking another bite greedily and licked over the sharp shark teeth with precise flick of his tongue. Stuffing the rest of his mouth was no easy task, as he kept biting into it just to sedate his sweet tooth.

Nothing compared to Sebastian's, but still just as good, "Candy? Those are like sherbert almost. Tastes good, though you might levitate off the ground for a while. A bit sweet for me"

Chourou noticed the sharp teeth, but had no reaction beyond mild interest. The mouth was at least human sized.

"Hmm, well I'm used to bananas but the children might like sweeter things," he said in an almost solemn manner. This manner abruply changed into youthful excitement.

"THE LEVITATION SOUNDS LIKE FUN!"

He rushed to the candy display, with a speed far beyond what one would expect from a man his age. He bought some of the Fizzing Whizzbees.

Sliding the rest into his mouth, he shivered. How he loved such delicious confectionaries. He sucked on a finger and bliked at the youthful response. Such energy. It was almost overwhelming.

"Doesn't it? I can suppose that's why they made it at all. For the children." He flicked a finger down, "There are some that make your mouth really hot. Others, you can breathe momentary fire."

"I don't think I want to breath fire at the moment," he said."This might be enough for now."

He popped a Fizzing Whizzbee into his mouth. The sherbert like taste was much sweeter than what he was used to.
It wasn't bad. Then he noticed the levitation. He let out a small chuckle. It was practically a manly giggle.

He tried to pose while in the air. This led to him falling down with a thunk. He quickly jumped to his feet. He lacked pain or embarassment.

"That was fun!"

A manly giggle. Oh, he was getting oddly creeped out despite himself. He busied himself though with another cauldron cake, going with the bubbling odd red fluid once more.

He was levitating off the ground, and he passed a hand underneath him to show there wasn't any tricks, but he had to snatch his hand away when he fell back down, snickering.

"Hmm~ hmm. You should be more careful."

Chourou was oblivious to how creeped out his coworker was.

"That distance was nothing," he said in a confident manner."Back home, I jumped through trees."

He tee heed a little at such excitement, but at the same time hugged his sweets to his chest.

"Through trees? I can jump a pretty good height myself when I get going."

He puffed out his chest in pride. The chest hair bounced. He had a small bag for the sweets he purchased.

"Of course, it's great fun and useful when hunting prey. So, you can jump high too? That's impressive."
