Luxord relaxed near the window, very proud of himself for coming up with this idea. Sure, the crevice outside his door, the star, and the fact he had no fireplace were all coincidence. However, after all of this had come together he had realized this was a prime opportunity to earn Slytherin some more points. And damn did they need those points.
Of course, it had taken some finesse. After all, his colleagues were just as eager to assist him. He probably would have preferred their aid, but this was for the good of Slytherin. Deep down, Luxord just couldn't stand losing. It was not something he handled very well at all. At least he could rely on Kirk, he might have had second thoughts about this plan if it had been any other Slytherin student.
