WHO: Peter Parker, Yoichi Hiruma, Closed LOCATION: Near the Gryffindor dorms WEEK: 58 TIME: During the Event WHAT: Business as usual... A little discussion about a personal matter. RATING: Shouldn't be too bad.
Okay, rainbow unicorns and dolphins amidst exploding stars was bad enough, but then there was the crazy hell-hound with a look of intense hunger in its eyes. For some reason, that was the thing that really mead him feel uneasy. Fortunately for Pete, the hallways weren't that difficult to traverse with his spider powers, and he definitely didn't show them off in front of any of his fellow students.
What worried him more was Hiruma. He knew something, and Peter feared the worse. If he knew the truth, and he told people at school--or even worse--anyone outside the school, Pete's secret identity would cease to exist and he'd be a full-on public display. Peter shook his head in disbelief. There's no way he could know. How could he know? He was just a kid like him.
Wait. If he is a student like him... What didn't he know?
Sorry for slowness. Work kicked my bum this weekend x.x;ya_ha_hirumaMay 24 2010, 20:10:51 UTC
Cerberus was doing his job more than adequately, there would be a huge pile of meat prepared for him later if things continued in Hiruma's favor. There was no reason for them not to, considering the nature of this other boy's secret. Peter couldn't very well afford to have something this big leaked to the public.
Waiting for just the right moment, Hiruma decided to make his move. Slowly sliding out from behind a massive stalagmite, he looked more like an eerie shadow with fierce glowing eyes than a person.
"Kehehehehehe," His characteristic foreboding laugh echoed throughout the chamber. He was right in Peter's path, there would be no way to avoid him now.
Re: Sorry for slowness. Girl, you have no reason to be sorry after my lack of onlineness.notspidermanJune 2 2010, 01:20:29 UTC
Okay, seriously, this was just getting creepy now. Why did Pete get the feeling his spider sense should be going off like crazy right now? The shadow that emerged from a dark corner wasn't a physical threat, but not many things at Hogwarts are. Still, he needed to be cautious.
"Who's there? Look, Flash already took my pocket money, so how about we both walk away and avoid potential wedgies?" Peter had no fear of a possible fight, but playing the helpless nerd usually got him out of any suspicious situations. He still couldn't help fight this threatening feeling lingering on the back of his neck.
Pfft don't worry about it XD. Things happen. Sorry about the Netbook.ya_ha_hirumaJune 2 2010, 23:38:30 UTC
A snarling noise followed along behind Peter, keeping its distance, but ever present. The shadow before him, moved slowly, deliberately, drawing out this uneasy tension for as long as possible. The boy was surrounded.
"Keheheh," It laugh once more, casually stepping into the dim yet sufficient light, a weapon propped up against his shoulder. "This isn't about your petty change...". Hiruma's lips drew into a sinister smile, revealing his fang-like teeth. A dense fog followed, flooding the corridor it wafted in to either side surrounding the boys and blotting out the walls and landscape giving the illusion of utter seclusion. It was just Peter, and Hiruma now, with no one about to disturb them.
"You haven't forgotten our little chat already, have you?".
Okay, fog machine? Or was it a spell? Whatever. It wasn't a real threat, but that gun on his shoulder was if he planned to use it. No... Hiruma's all talk. Threats and bluffs to bully people into getting what he wants. It's true they had both been in Hogwarts for years now, but they had never really crossed paths before. Somehow, he now had Hiruma's interest.
He wasn't stupid. It could only be that reason, but he wasn't ready to give up the ghost. After all, there could be a very small chance that wasn't it.... right? He had his doubts.
Going for his own bluff, he played the coward. "Okay, okay! I was the one that blew up the potions lab! It was an accident! I was trying something new and got the wrong amount of ingredients and, and...!" God, I hope you're buying this. "Look, can't we work something out?"
Hiruma's smirk swiftly descended into a frown. Who was this boy trying to kid? Potions lab, please. Besides Hiruma had blown up a bar, intentionally, on purpose, when recruiting another player with no repercussions. Who would even care if someone blew up the potions lab? Most people, professors included, would celebrate.
He shot a volley of shots into the air, to drive the following point home,"Can it shrimp! That's not it.......". Placing the gun back in it's initial resting position her added. "And you know it".
"We both know about that little secret of yours. If you intend to keep it a secret, I suggest that you cooperate fully". Getting out the Devil's Handbook he flipped to the pages pertaining to Peter. Looming over the black book, "It would be a shame to blow your secret identity....".
Last summer, he had faced down the petty criminals of New York without fear. He had faced a kingpin of crime and put him away fro good. He thought no one ould fid out it was all the work of a scrawny 17 year old science geek. Apparently. Hiruma sought to change all that.
He was shocked and at a loss. "What? How did--? I mean--When could--? Where did you--? How--just--how did you?" Either Peter just lost the bluffing game or the scary Slytherin kid from Japan figured him out.
"...No, wait. You wouldn't corner me here for nothing. What is it that you want?"
Waiting patiently, he watched Peter as everything started to sink in, relishing every second of the boy's mystified reaction. "Keh, it wasn't difficult to find out..." Hiruma smirked, lowering the book, allowing himself to properly stare at the target once more. "Timing is everything". If anyone else had bothered to draw the correlations between when the masked crusader appeared and that other incident, they may have discovered the truth as well.
"You," Hiruma simply replied to the last question letting the boy stew for a matter of seconds in debating what Hiruma was suggesting before revealing the actual request,"The American Football club..". He paused and thought of Flash and his team, the Mustangs, before he corrected himself," The original American Football club is still looking for enough members to fill the team.... You'll be joining the team. In exchange, I won't say a thing about what you do in your spare time".
Peter wasn't entirely sure what he meant by that, but he was still too frazzled that his identity was discovered. Hiruma was smart though. Really smart. No one seemed to pay a lot of attention to his grades since they were too focused on his behavior. Anyway, if anyone would be able to figure out his secret, he had to be as smart as him.
"Wait..." Peter's momentary feelings of dread were washed away as he discovered Hiruma's motive. "You want me... to play football or you'll tell the world I'm Spider-Man? Are you serious?"
Must play football V. important BDya_ha_hirumaJune 8 2010, 16:15:13 UTC
That was the truth. For some reason torturing your fellow classmates seemed to be a more compelling subject of interest than his grades. Go figure.
"That's the deal, take it or leave it," Hiruma shifted his weight from one foot to the other impatiently. Giving himself something to do, he started cleaning his gun. Whenever he got a conversation to this point it the victims recruits always asked the same question. Are you serious. Tch. "I win either way". Which was true, the newspapers and media outlets would be clamoring for information like this. He could make a fortune, upgrade the clubhouse, and buy all new equipment, everything.

Hmm.. a pity he couldn't do both.
