"Help! Someone help me!"

The cries of Lucy's distress would soon reach Erza's ears, drifting down from the very tallest tower of the castle. Lucy had no idea why the unicorn had taken her, but once it had, slipping its horn under her shirt to lift her up in the process, it had swiftly raced through the halls, smashing through all obstacles until it arrived up here in the open air, and knocking her keys and wand off her belt in the process. Once there it dropped her on the cold stone, leaving her shivering and curled in her tattered shirt. The horse was giving her a look she didn't fully trust, and now she had begun to wonder if this wasn't the same creature that had been in Sei's bed.

Of course, if it was, then that meant it might try to...Why did these things always happen to her?

"HELP! PLEASE, SOMEONE!" she cried, watching the horse begin to trot forward with a sinister whinny.

Erza darted ahead, all but vaulting up the stairs to reach the tower. She already had her wand drawn, prepared to stun this unicorn to hell and back. She caught sight of it a moment later, the familiar sparkles guiding her to her destination.

Once there, and after taking a moment to absorb the unsettling scene in front of her, she wasted no time.

"Stupefy!"

Backed to the edge of the tower, nothing left for her but a long plunge to the hard ground, the brave witch found herself staring defiantly into the eyes of her captor, forced to chose between her virtue and certain doom.

"Look, what do you want? If I show you my bra will you go away?" the brave witch pleaded in a distinctly cowardly fashion. Hey, would you do any better when trapped by a lecherous unicorn?

Luckily, Lucy was prevented from having to make any grim choices by the timely arrival of her beautiful knight, a savior clad in red, a warrior without equal. "KICK THIS THING'S BUTT ERZA!" Lucy yelled, not quite getting into the role of distressed demur princess.

Turning with a enraged neigh, which sounded like most other neighs, but slightly louder, the unicorn charged the mortal who would dare interrupt its sacred mission, leaping over Erza's spell as it bore down on the woman.

Ah. It had dodged the spell. This...wasn't good. And it was charging toward her, which was also very unfortunate. Getting impaled on a unicorn horn had to be one of the most pitiful ways to die that she could think of. Luckily, she was able to skid out of the way before the unicorn slammed into her, and used the moment to grab Lucy. However, she now had a dilemma. Lucy was safe...for now, but the only exit, save the window (which was a last resort, given their current location), was blocked by a very large, and very angry rainbow unicorn.

"I think we're trapped." The unicorn pushed itself up, eyes blazing with rage. Erza frowned, and held her ground, brandishing her wand again. "Dammit..."

A rabid succession of emotions, running the gambit from horror to exultation crossed Lucy's face as she watched the unicorn bear down on her best friend, only for Erza to escape at the last moment in a show of skill and grace that left metaphorical hearts of admiration shining in Lucy's eyes ( ... )

"Of course not," Erza remarked shortly, narrowing her eyes at the unicorn. "I'll fight this thing with my bare hands if I have to, for my nakama." She had no intention of leaving Lucy alone with this creature -- who knew what it would do, for one, and two, she hadn't yet exhausted all of her options. There was still a chance of escaping unscathed without killing the unicorn, at the least...without injuring it was an entirely different matter ( ... )

Erza's promise was an uplifting one that filled Lucy with a warmth at the thought of her friend's dedication and concern for her, but at the same time the more practical side of Lucy couldn't help but point out she was considering fighting a several hundred pound wild animal possessing a very sharp horn with her bare hands.

...then again, this was Erza she was talking about. If anyone could, it would be her.

Still reeling from her utter failure at saving the day, Lucy could only watch aghast as the Unicorn and Erza met in a contest of strength, one that saw both sides bracing against one another, their powerful bodies tense as they fought for every scrap of leverage against their foe. Not wishing to be caught in the intense contest being fought over her, (which would have been really flattering had one of the contestants not been a horse), Lucy backed away from the struggling combatants, without realizing how close she was coming to the towers edge. One misstep, and she would have a rather nasty fall.

Erza unfortunately, did not notice Lucy teetering dangerously close to the edge of the tower, too involved in her struggle against the lecherous unicorn. The creature bucked wildly, trying to escape Erza, but her grip was like steel. She slammed her shoulder against the beast to knock him off-balance, but this had the unfortunate effect of making her release her hold, and the unicorn instead used her momentary loss of footing to push her away.

The room was narrow and left little room for maneuvering. And so, Erza stumbled backward...right into Lucy.

Unfortunately Lucy had the bad habit of losing her coordination at the least opportune times, and times didn't get less opportune than standing on the very edge of a extremely tall castle tower just when a unicorn tossed your best friend into you.

Therefore, given the exceptional inopportune properties of this situation, it would come as little surprise that when Erza, laden down as she was by a full set of armor, slammed into the already off balance Lucy the result was a flailing Lucy reeling back with her arms spinning wildly, only to find nothing but air under her foot. The poor girl had just enough time for a startled scream before the rest of her promptly followed her leg over the edge and she found herself plummeting off the tower and heading straight for the sharp rocks below.

Today just was not Lucy's day.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem like anyone's day today at all.

At some point, trying to follow the startled cries through the hallway, Sei'd been ambushed.

Though perhaps it wasn't so much 'ambushed' as it was 'bowled into'; she'd barely had time to hear the clicking before suddenly finding herself with a dolphin snout between her legs and one hand clinging desperately to the shiny, smooth creature's dorsal fin to keep her on its back as it swam through the air.

And then it had done a barrel roll, and she had found herself somehow behind the dorsal fin in a much more comfortable position - one she kept right up to the moment the creature burst forth onto the tower in a shower of sparkles, arcing up and over, and skimming down past both Erza and the unicorn so quickly and so closely Sei wondered how she didn't catch one or the other of them with her feet ( ... )
