What: Sei is people-watching, getting to know her schoolmates from a distance. Poor Chao happens to pique her interest.
Rating: PG probably at most
It wasn't exactly the warmest, brightest, or even best day for Sei to be outside, sitting comfortably beneath a tree, hands folded behind her head, feet crossed at the ankle, as she stretched out. It had been raining recently, and she could feel the slight dampness under her bottom, but between that and the bit of bark digging into her shoulder, she didn't seem to be bothered.
It sort of looked like she was dozing, enjoying a lazy afternoon nap, or at least daydreaming, staring at the clouds floating lethargically in the distance. In truth, her ever busy eyes were scanning the populace; there weren't too many people out and about, likely a testament to the weather (though today was better than it had been, by far), but those that were... were definitely getting a good once-over, being scanned and processed and filed like her mind was some sort of precise instrument.
Of course, up to this point, no one particularly interesting had come by, no one whose mental file deserved a red flag. Yet.
And just as she thought of that, something caught her eye, and a grin spread the width of her features.
