WHO: Hikaru & Kaoru; and so very much open
LOCATION: Great Hall

TIME: Monday, mid-day
WHAT: The twins are talking, snacking and sorta-studying. Plus, anyone that comes up and talks to them might get to play a fun game~
RATING: PG, tops.

Lizzie was holding her books when she came into the great hall. Only a few of them, five to be exact. She spotted her new friend and... his twin? Twins?! That was wonderful~! "Kaoru!" She skipped over to the twins and then looks between them. "Wow, identical twins~! That must be very fun" She put her books down ext to then and then curtsied. "Hello brother of Kaoru, I am Elizabeth Middleford."

Hikaru perks up a bit at the sound of his brother's name being called by someone he didn't know, glancing over in time to be greeted by the sight of the young girl skipping toward them. Raising a brow to this and giving his brother a slow look and musing, Kaoru sure attracted the weird ones. Nevertheless, he gives Elizabeth a small look and shrug at her statement. It could be fun, but usually only to them.

"Hikaru." He returned lightly, still looking toward the bundle of blond curiously.

Lizzie smiled happily at him. "It's wonderful to meet you, Hikaru." she sat down so that she could see both of them. "It really is striking how closely you look alike. Not the same person, but I'm sure you can fool a great many people." After all, it was her lot in life to notice small details in some people and remember their names. It would be terrible of her if she forgot any of the names of the people she knew! Especially those close to the queen. "Are you both well today?"

Hikaru returns the pleasantry with a small sound, sending another brief look toward Kaoru before turning his focus back on Elizabeth as she spoke. Her words concerning them made it hard not to smirk a little as he sighs, "Try everyone." He says lightly, a sigh to his voice.

"Could be better, but it isn't terrible. How about you?"

"That must be very annoying then." Lizzie patted her pile of books. "studying, but I'm a bit ahead. I'd just like to keep it that way." She smiled at Kaoru. "You are doing okay as well, yes?"

Kaoru hadn't been paying a lot of attention trying to finish off work from a lesson he just couldn't do, until he heard his name being mentioned, to which he turned his head spotting Elizabeth as he smile gently and noted that she and Hikaru were talking until she asked Kaoru himself a question to which he answered simply, "I'm doing well, just finishing off some homework that I'm stuck on, but apart from that I am doing pretty well, how about you?"

Lizzie smiled gently back to him as well. "I'm fine. Really. I've just been studying with these books." she patted the pile again. She wasn't really sure why he hadn't heard her before, but she just let it pass. "did you enjoy the party? I do hope you did."

"I did enjoy it very much, it was a very nice style you used for it as well, I never really got to comment on it before." He smiled before looking at Hikaru "Though it would of been more fun if you were there Hikaru, but I couldn't find you at the time."

He's been sorta of half-listening to the conversation between the two, having re-opened his book and starting to write again in an attempt to finish up his homework. Distracted though at the sound of his name as he looks up, flashing a small smile, "Ah, sorry again Kaoru." Hikaru mutters, frowning briefly as he notes he's been doing that a lot as of late. "I haven't meant to keep leaving you and going off on my own, guess I had more on my mind than I thought. Never again though."

Kaoru had ended up just smiling at his brother "It's understandable you had work that needed to be done, thatss why you were away a lot of the time, so there's really no need to say sorry now is there?"

Even though he said this he had picked up a parchment and lightly hitting him on the head with it "So no saying sorry unless it's for something serious ok?"

He's just sort of nodding along with the other's words, well at least until he's hit with the parchment. Glancing up curiously and blinking a bit, bowing his head for a moment and then giving the other a smile. "All right, sounds fair enough. No more apologizing unless it's serious."

Lizzie was just sort of confused by the entire thing. Everyone always said they were sorry at lest a few times. It was just how people were. Huh. Maybe it was a sibling thing to do. "OWLS must be really hard on you both." she took her books up and stood, giving a little half curtsy to both of them. It was wonderful to meet you, Hikaru, and to see you again, Kaoru." she couldn't wave with her books though. "Till we meet again." Then off Lizzie went to study.
