In Which a Mouse visits Ashes

Finally, the day had worked its way into the early afternoon. Normally, Sophie would have kept to the library, in case of lunch time visitors, but today found her locking up the room and navigating her way to Ashe's office.
As she had mentioned in her journal, she had found herself in a terrible mess, but there was also they fact that she was ever so slightly worried for her friend. Something had happened at the masquerade, she was certain of it. It was just a feeling, but something seemed off about Ashe's own journal today for it not to be true...(Or at least it seemed that way by Sophie's own logic.)
No matter, she'd find out something sooner or later. With that thought she gave a determined nod and hurried the rest of the way to Ashe's office, where she knocked and waited for the other woman to answer.
