WELCOME TO OUR OOC CLASS LOG!

How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labeled with the year and class. Namine remembers a bubble-head spell and also knows a few plants that could help...although she mentions gillyweed might be hard to come by.

Yellow launches into an excited story about a surfing Pikachu before realizing that no, that's not really going to help him right now and the professor is probably not amused.

Frantically tries to remember any other useful information. Fails. Uh. Make friends with a sea creature?

Chao mentions they need be prepared for anything. Reasonable hardass Teachers are A-okay for this Gryffindor.

She takes account for her team and...fff Luke is in it. We're going to play the 'you don't exist game.', Luke. Especially after the Tabby incident.

Chao knows to at least try to be a team player and will talk to Luke when necessary. She just..well, it doesn't matter to the Professor.

She'll take notice and track most of the creatures on her own pretty well, but let the rest of her team notice some of them too. DADA is a slightly better class out of most of her current selection.

Harry tracks the creatures like it's second nature and shows a encyclopedic knowledge of them when quizzed, including information that isn't anywhere in the textbook, and seems derived on practical experience.

He also emphasizes there is no such thing as paranoid, only under prepared and just prepared enough not to die immediately.

Oh, his robes are clean, but show signs they've been patched by hand extensively.

He nods, and seems to actually take her words to heart, even if he maintains it's not paranoia if they are all out to get you.

He seems tired and worn down, but insists that he's fine, just trouble sleeping.

Almost as if he'd been trained for this sort of thing.

Having never excelled at practical applications of DADA, Kairi hopes she gets put in a decent team because if anything comes at them she's not sure she can stop it.

She is pretty book-smart, however. If she gets quizzed, she can rattle off the book descriptions of the creature pretty easily, and the theories on how to deal with them. She's just never really... ya know, practiced any of it. First-hand.

That will become very apparent if anything jumps out at her.

Chao comes in, being as proper and mannerly as she can. She doesn't want to put Light in a bad mood for something frivolous.

She's kind of curious about what the current gear most Aurors use these days and maybe any technical points about their design, including design flaws.

Gotta know what you could and could not handle in any situation.
