WHO: Castiel and Dean Winchester
LOCATION: Library
WEEK: 56
TIME: Late Night
WHAT: A meet-up between old friends
RATING: Uh....probably PG
While other people may have returned home to families or friends, Castiel preferred to spend the evening surrounded by books. He had a decent sized stack near him, many with a smattering of torn pieces of paper marking passages of interest. He had been pouring over the books for about a month now, cross-referencing different sources to thoroughly learn all that he could.
It was sometimes hard to figure out how to best take in vastly differing opinions, but he tended to go with what he agreed with and what other sources he trusted might have hinted at. While he knew it was getting late, he wasn't quite ready to abandon his research. After all, he had to be getting close to finding out the truth about Unicorns. The reasons behind why it was considered one, aside from the fact that they only had one horn, was quite interesting. He had spent the last week staying up too late to learn more. He wasn't going to give up now.
He flipped to another page to double check what another tome stated. He frowned. It didn't seem correct that they were considered to be the Runic number one due to the fact that they lived in only one place. Certainly there were other animals that also fit this description. This book wasn't the most reliable source he had, but they did occasionally have information that other books did not. Ones that he was wont to believe. There certainly was a kernel of truth in there somewhere.
He leaned down closer to the book. There was a short excerpt of a story of Unicorns in Runic. He found those to be the most fascinating, even if they were little more than folklore.
