"I-I'm sorry it took so long..!" She finally looked up and saw the crowd of gathered people and squeaked, backpedaling a bit and nearly tripping backward over herself. "Oh! I'm-- I didn't realize... so many people would be here!"

Smiling, she stepped up from behind her and took her by the shoulder. "Just as cute as I remember, Maylene." Madam Red chuckled quietly, and stepped around the girl to greet both her niece and her nephew, --with hugs ♥.

Absentmindedly, Agni pondered where his Master was now, he should have tagged along. Lost in his own thoughts he'd almost missed Maylene's entrance. Smiling broadly he nodded at her. For now he'd keep to the background like a proper servant.

When Madame Red gave Ciel and her a hug, she hugged her back. It was always lovely to see her auntie. She had to tell her of the party she was going to throw after all this.
After letting go of the hug Lizzie moved to Maylene's side. "It's much better to be welcomed by friends then this old door." she nodded at the door before looking over to Ciel. "Right?"

And she did appreciate the gesture, truly she did- but she knew her place, and this... this was definitely far from it. She'd likely get quite the lecture later on about the proper behavior of a servant. Still, it was nice to see everyone- and Madame Red's presence was as bolstering as ever- as was Agni's, though in a considerably less obvious manner. She curtsied again, and then turned to Ciel, offering a nervous smile.
"It is very good to see you again, Young Master. My apologies that it took me so long to arrive."

He offered Lizzie a curt nod to her question before addressing Maylene.
"Think nothing of it. I trust you had a safe an uneventful journey?" He added a faint trace of a smile for good measure. He had wanted to inquire about the state of the manor, the servants that had been left behind were not the most fastidious or capable. The manor was probably in shambles, ah well he'd leave that matter for Sebastian to inquire upon.

"Come now, Maylene. Don't be modest --!" Madam Red chuckled, waving her hand dismissively at the flustered servant. "Stop that. Don't apologize! We're just happy that you could make it."
Letting go of Ciel, Madam Red sauntered down the nearest Hall, motioning for the others to follow. "Let's move someplace a bit more private, alright. No need to make this little reunion anybodys' business but our own, .. &besides, it's a bit chilly by this door."

Trying to make himself useful, he opened any doors that lay in the groups path, and would manage to whip up plenty of refreshments if there should be needed.

Immediately, she straightened up again, though her hands stayed fisted in her skirts as she followed the rest of them indoors, briefly caught off-guard by Lady Elizabeth's question.
"Oh... well, while I'm sure they would be, Miss Elizabeth, it would be a shame to ruin such lovely gifts in the process of taking care of the daily chores..." Which held true enough for Finnian, all things consideredd, but for Bard... well Maylene could never be sure. "And I would hate to keep you from anything Lady Elizabeth- after all, don't classes begin soon..?" Nott that she wouldn't enjoy a tour, but she would hate to be responsible for either her or the Young Master being late to a class. She flashed a slight at Agni then, glad to see the other servant there as well- he had always been very kind, and Maylene was quite fond of him in the same way she was fond of the other Phantomhive servants.

A smirk crossed his face when Maylene fielded the question about the servants outfits. She handled it quite well, her response was concise and tactful. As to be expected of a Phantomhive servant.

"Would you mind making some tea, and maybe a small array of snacks, ..? It appears that in all the excitement Lady Elizabeth didn't think this little reuinion all the way through." Chuckling quietly, she looked over her shoulder to the three of them.

Agni wondered what Miss Maylene would specifically prefer. In his haste he'd forgotten to make the proper inquiries. With a nod, it was decided that he'd just have to include plenty of sweets whose recipes originated in the United Kingdom. Surely, one of them would be to her liking. It was so refreshing to be useful~

"Well no, of course they can't wear them while working. How smart of them to make sure they are kept nice."
Lizzie blushed as her auntie pointed out her mistake, the idea of showing Maylene around the castle forgotten for the moment. "Oh dear. I did forget that, didn't I?" She was grateful when Agni came back with the tea. Now everything was right and they could have a lovely talk. "I can't wait for classes to start again. I have all my homework to turn in."
