How this will work, is that professors who wish to hold an OOC log post a thread for each year of their classes, labeled with the year and class. Weapons Mastery (3-5)

Professor Yun's in a poor mood, looks a little frazzled. No jokes today, kiddos. And no calling her "Fang." Pay attention and try not to injure yourselves, alright?

3rd Years

Guess who's studying today? You won't be fighting, yet, but you'll be learning a hell of a lot about the Lichtenaeur form of swordsmanship today. She'll be walking around, quizzing you as she goes.

Don't think about slacking off -- you'll be putting all of this boring, dry reading into practice the next class.

4th and 5th Years

Medieval sword practice. She's combined this class today.

You'll be split into groups of two and handed practice swords -- nothing that'll give you lot cause to kill each other. Mostly made of foam and wood. You'll be wearing the proper equipment too, and the proper way. Whoever isn't in gear by the time class starts is losing points.

You'll be dealing mostly in wandless disarming. Mind you, this means you're going to need some finesse. In the old days, knights were taught self-defense tactics -- it wasn't just flinging a sword around and hoping for the best. She's already drilled you on this for the last class. Most of you should be prepared.

Chao really didn't want to come to any of her classes, but who can pass up playing with swords!?

Unfortunately, while Chao is good at martial arts and making enchantments she's....not that great at weapon fighting. Even WITH the previous lesson last class.

At least she can fasten her equipment fast enough.

Whoever's her opponent is going to get very easy wins.

Harry actually does know how to use a sword. He's not gonna be challenging someone who's skilled at it anytime soon, but he knows the basics and which end to hold.
