Leia was beginning to get the feeling that perhaps it would be better to have her food sent in from Hogsmeade.

The hallucinations had started soon after she'd eaten the soup, which left her with no doubt as to who the culprit was. She'd been in the middle of one of her sixth year classes when a sudden chill spread over her and the sound of automated breathing met her ears. She continued the rest of her class, hyper aware of the shadow of her father standing over her.

Things had started off bad, and only gotten worse. Leia dealt with it all stoically, watching Alderaan be destroyed, Luke get his hand cut off, Han as an ornament on a wall. They were all the more worse for the fact that they had actually happened, but the woman showed no sign that anything was amiss other than a slight tightness around her eyes, a strained air when she smiled.

Her classes were done for the day, and she was looking forward to returning to her quarters and collapsing. Hopefully, she mused as she walked down the halls, this one won't last a full week like the last.

"Hey, mum."

Leia froze.

"Aren't you a little far from work?"

It had really been too much to hope that she wouldn't have this thrown at her, too. Leia was an adult now, she knew better than that. And yet--

She sagged, the poised woman who had been traversing the corridors of Hogwarts abruptly gone. She couldn't turn around. She absolutely refused to do so, because she knew that for all it was a hallucination, if she were to see her son standing there, in any incarnation, she wouldn't make it to her quarters before collapsing.

"Anakin," she murmured, and tried to muster the energy to move forward.
