Karin walked leisurely out of the Slytherin common room, a thick envolope held lightly in her hand. It wasn't a far walk from the common room to the owlery, and a few minutes later she is up the stairs and into the owlery.
Reaching into her pocket, she pulls out some small brown pellets. Seconds later a small black and white owl soars down from the rafters, squacking excitedly. "Hello~" Karin says quietly, stroking the owls feathers.
She pulls a piece of string out of her pocket and attaches the letter to the owls foot, all the while feeding it owl food. A few seconds later and the owl soars off, and she watches it, a small, small grin on her face.
