The rest was greatly appreciated, and completely necessary. He'd done more in the last week than perhaps he'd done in his entire stay at Hogwarts. All that exploring, and mingling with the other students and staff had really taken it out of him.
Groggily, the Slytherin found himself beginning to wake. No longer eight-years old, no longer amiable, and no longer eye-patchless. He was too tired to even think about everything that might have happened. It was like waking from some kind of foggy dream, it had to be a dream didn't it?
It was a lot to take in, so for now he allowed the thoughts to fade into the background. Perhaps he'd sleep a little longer... but something was different... something in this room was not quite right....
Something hard, was laying across him. Just... what was it?
Equally sleepy ^^elricwizardJanuary 25 2010, 21:21:01 UTC
Edward was just as exhausted as Ciel. He didn't normally run around the castle like he had as a child, spending time with others and not on homework and he found himself in a nice warm bed, fast asleep.
His arm was around a pillow or something so he hugged it closer, sighing a little. Sleeping was good. Vaguely he wondered where Marshmallow was.
Fighting to stay awake, Ciel raised one fist to rub the sleep from his eye. On first glance whatever it was didn't come into focus. The light glinted off of it, maybe it was plastic, metal?
