Namine walked slowly down to the second floor. She didn't know why she was so anxious to meet the smaller, younger version of Riku. It just seemed like it would be strange to meet him when he was like this and was probably expecting to find the Namine he had known at that age. What if he didn't believe her when she told him she was Namine? Or worse, what if he rejected her completely? She knew she wouldn't hold it against him, but she couldn't think of anything worse than being rejected by your childhood friend.
"Riku," she called out, "where are you?" As promised, she had a box of crayons and paper in hand.
