Name(s): Ema Skye, Klavier Gavin, Rangiku Matsumoto, ANY PROFESSORS ROUGHLY THE SAME AGE Location: Starting at the Entrance Hall and from there, god knows where else. Week: 49 Time: Monday Morning Rating: PG
To be far, Klavier had made an effort to be that the entrance before Ema. He wouldn't hear the end of it if he wasn't. But he had found himself distracted by a young German speaking boy of the journals. Something was wrong in the halls of Hogwarts today--he was now sure of it.
Still, he had hoped he had enough leeway to beat his friend there--no such luck. This was starting to remind him of the day he had lost his trunk key, broom, and Cannon's hoodie in a day.
"Waiting long, Fraulein?" He asked, grin falling a few watts short of its normal brightness. Diva fit eminent Ema, just be warned.
Ema tapped her food impatiently as she waited for Klavier in the hall. The doors kept opening and closing and the lab coat she donned wasn't nearly as warm as the robes everyone else wore.
"It's about time. I could have have gotten hypothermia waiting for you, you know," she scolded her best friend as he finally made an appearance.
Klavier chuckled and shook his head. Such strange accusations, and really it wasn't that cold.
"Then maybe you should try wearing actually robes." He suggested, plucking at one of the sleeves of her lab coat. "There were several spares in the office I was in."
"But that's so... so... unscientific," she replied with a pout. Sure, she owned robes, but she'd much rather prefer her lab coat. It was a constant battle she had with the Professors for going against the dress code. Usually she won out of exasperating the fact that her lab coat was just a robe in a different color.
I...should put in more 17 year old icons...accioairguitarJanuary 12 2010, 04:12:08 UTC
"As unscientific as it may be, you'll get sick with just that lab coat." This was an argument they had before--often on treks across school grounds in the dead of winter. Even with all of the scientific reasoning in the world, the lab coat always seemed to win over the practicality of an actual coat.
You should <3acciosnakooJanuary 12 2010, 08:24:58 UTC
"Oh, I'll be fine. We should really get to work if we're going to find out about those albums of yours." Okay, so she was changing the subject. As much as she enjoyed a good argument with Klavier on occasion, it was one she was tired of having. That and there were more important matters at hand.
Hay bb, sorry I took so long.accioairguitarJanuary 22 2010, 01:56:18 UTC
"If they even are mine." Klavier responded, allowing the shift in conversation. If there was one thing he had learned from the years of knowing one Ema Skye, it was that there were times and places to stick to an argument, and times to let it go. This one could slide, if only because there would be no convincing her and it was likely to just come up again and again anyway.
"My name was on the door too. I do like the office, but I'd hate to think I some how missed they years it should have taken to come back here." He was making conversation, filling her in on small details that likely had a bigger place somewhere. He started moving as he talked, retracing the path he had taken to get there. There were finger prints to be had, and they had better start moving to get to them.
No u. Or me, I should say.acciosnakooFebruary 1 2010, 23:50:07 UTC
"I really don't see why anyone else would want to name their band the Gavineers," she frowned. It was true and the name was stupid, as she enjoyed telling him on a regular basis.
"Hey, maybe I have an office too!" she grinned. It was a joke, really. If Klavier deserved an office, she was sure she did too.
