Gokudera had skipped out skating with a group. He was above that--or so he told himself. Really, he just wanted a chance to test out his new skates without the change of having a crowd. Come on, rocket propelled ice skates, everyone would want a pair if they worked right.
He had run through the calculations several times, and he was sure that they would work. He just have to give them a test run. Despite the cold, he took up a spot on a rock situated by the lake and started strapping on his skates. At least there weren't too many people out today.
