Hughes was still skeptical about this whole 'reindeer' in the building thing. The only thing he was happy about was the fact that an activity like this was going to take his mind off things. Investigation was something he loved and even if it was something silly like this he didn't really mind.
Plus, apparently the Headmaster had requested some students to help Hughes out. He felt like he could do this alone, but, maybe he could teach the students a thing or two about investigation.
So, Hughes waited at the top of the stairs to the fifth floor, waiting for the students to join him while also keeping an eye out for hoof-prints.
