There was a pile of books and bags with legs stumbling into the school.
Of course, there was a human being under all those massive books and bags full of various herbs, reeds, animal parts, and other assorted nastiness. If the cursing that was coming from under said pile of assorted stuff was any indication, said human being was as far removed from pleased as was possible.
"...useless... never a servant when you need one... did they not know I-- SHIT!"
The last was said to the accompaniment of a rather loud THUD as a particularly large bag slammed to the floor, leaving a small crack in the stone beneath it. A head of tousled pink hair poked out from under his load at the damage, before letting out a groan, more worried about the contents of the bag than the floor of course. He wobbled precariously, trying desperately to reach out and grab the bag... only to have a book fall from the stack, knocking his glasses clean off.
And now he couldn't see. What a fabulous first day back for Szayel Aporro Granz.
