Name(s): Any and All Slytherins Location: The Grand Room on the 4th floor Week: 47 Time: Weekend Rating: TBA Note: Party style; don't worry about posting order
His first week here and he's already being forced to attend some stupid dinner. Kyo hadn't bothered dressing up or anything, why should he? Despite his reluctance to attend, he had shown up slightly early. It was probably an attempt to get this over with as soon as possible.
Kyo sighed, pulling a chair out and taking a seat near someone he was pretty sure he shared a room with. "This is stupid. Shouldn't he be worried about us passing our exams or something," Kyo muttered.
Against the green décor, Bakura stood out wearing his blood red robe and rings made from pure gold on his fingers. Sure, he was wearing the colours that were associated with the Gryffindor house but, he didn’t give a damn. These were his clothes and, when told to ‘dress up’ for the occasion, he had to wear some accessories he had acquired over the years
He would enjoy just finding an empty corner back in the common room but, no, this was a forced social event for the lot of them and what he wanted was no longer an option. So, Bakura went with the easiest and least painful choice and sat next to his roommates, as they were the most familiar. Well, not the new one of course, Bakura never spoke to him much but, Sasuke was someone he had spoken to a few times in the past. “Ridiculous,” He growled, watching as more of their housemates entered the room, “This is just asking for bloodshed.”
Oh, great. The roommates had arrived. Sasuke hadn't really spoken to Kyon much yet (not that he really spoke to the other two much in the first place), so maybe now was the time.
At Bakura's remark about blooshed, Sasuke snorted. "Keeping us all in one House is asking for bloodshed," he muttered. "And I really don't think Holmes gives a damn about our grades in classes that aren't his," he added to Kyon.
Kyo couldn't say anything about the blood shed. The air in the room was certainly thick, he'd felt pressure like this before in other fights. He hoped it didn't come to that. He liked fighting, sure, but if things got out of hand he could bump into a girl.
"I'm just going to eat and get out of here, that's all," he was actually pretty hungry and started putting food on his plate, ignoring the other two.
"Even in one house, we were able to seperate from one another," Bakura almost barked laughing, picking up one of the strange, British food items off the table that appeared to be some sort of meat and taking a large bite. There was a benefit to this place and that was he could eat something that wasn't anything he stole, dug up or killed.
Unfortunately, no one really taught him proper table manners as he gnawed at the food clenched in his bare hand.
"Sounds like a plan--" Sasuke said in response to Kyon, but he trailed off, staring at Bakura as he wolfed down the food he held. Little fragments of food were literally flying around. Bakura ate as if he hadn't eaten in days.
"Remember to breathe, Bakura," Sasuke said, one eyebrow raised.
Kyo stared at Bakura as he gnawed on food like a wild-animal. "What the hell is wrong with this house," Kyo remarked without thinking. He took a bite of the food, glad that there weren't any leeks anywhere in sight.
You would think being around for almost 6 full years would have meant Bakura would have picked up some of the other students eating habits during every mandatory dinner during the year but, that just appeared to be asking too much from him. He learned spells, stole treasure and was a general menace when he felt like it but, etiquette? Nope.
Pausing from tearing apart the food with his teeth, Bakura just gave the others a feral grin making him appear more like a wild animal than before. "Didn't know you actually cared/i>, Uchiha."
"I care about not taking shrapnel to the face," Sasuke retorted, returning his attention (the little of it he intended to give, anyway) to the dinner party at large. Yeah, so Bakura was a psychopath, what else was new in his life?
Kyo avoided watching Bakura eat because he was pretty sure if he watched too long he'd start to get sick or something. Instead he ate quietly, ignoring most everyone else. Kyo just wanted to eat and get out of here, dammit. Was that so much to ask? This event was stupid any way.
"Fantastic," he muttered under his breath, as he made his way to a table, nodding to Professor Holmes as he went.
[[ ooc: Sasuke has no choice but to be social tonight! Throw someone at him who doesn't usually talk to him? 8D ]]
