Students were starting to come back to the castle so the momentary silence of them being gone out to Hogsmeade was once again broken. Ren just stood leaning against the wall that opened up into the courtyard, smoke trailing from the cigarette that was held between his lips.
He skipped out on the Hogsmeade trip so, he spent a lot of time that weekend to himself, thinking or just staring off into space as the case may be. After going with Catty the week before, he just had no interest in going again, what with the fact that he now had a significant lack of cash after paying for a night at the pub.
….Okay, truthfully, Ren didn’t go because he didn’t want anyone to catch him while he got high. It happened before from him being careless and he didn’t want to risk it.
But, that was yesterday night and, 24 hours later, he was now calmed down and thinking clearly again. He was now just relaxing, enjoying the cold of outside while listening as the sound of the other students returning got louder and louder as each moment passed.
