When Al is not around, Edward is sure to find him

After the fiasco the weekend before, Alphonse's absence at his side every waking moment that week was somewhat disconcerting. Edward would have thought Al would be there, to mock him about singing, dancing and calling his boyfriend Christine for a night, and frankly he was worried. He knew Al was nice but he certainly was not that nice.
So after classes at the end of the week, he intimidated some first year into letting him into Gryffindor and stomped his way up to the fourth year dorm, found his brother's bed and sat on it cross-legged to wait. Alphonse had to come back sometime and when he did? Edward would be ready.
