Rating:...I'll try to keep things clean, but its a lit class taught by Kakashi, so the upper classes will be PG-13

Class discussion on the similarities and contrasts of Muggle and Wizard romance novels, focusing on common and unique tropes. Please note, you've had to read both classic and trashy romance novels. 'The Brighton Warlock's Mastered Mermaid' was probably a big hit.

Touya Akira was fond of literature, he really was. He enjoyed esteemed writers such as Shakespeare, Dickens and the Bronte sisters. Wuthering Heights was an excellent book.

However he did not think that 'The Brighton Warlock's Mastered Mermaid' was classified as literature.

He entered the classroom and sat down, his books in a neat pile and frowned at the teacher, because reading dime store smut was a total waste of his time.

Setsuna, for her part, simply tried her best to maintain some modicum of dignity as she sat in her seat, silently wondering how the head of her house was allowed to get away with assigning such material. Certainly his actual teaching methods, though subtle, were effective...but still!

Of course, the teacher was not there to be frowned at for quite some time, but when he did arrive, it was through the door with a sheepish expression.

"Huh, it seems I'm a bit late. Sorry about that, I got lost on the road of life. Anyway, are you all done with your quizzes?"

He looked at the quiz he'd been trying to fill out and scratched his head. Finally he just sighed and went to return it to Kakashi. It wasn't like he knew any more of the information anyway. He'd read the books they had been interesting, but really, trying to derive things like symbolism had never been his strong point.
