It was not a particularly rare occurrence that Reno found himself lurking over to his fellow redhead's bed, and considering his extended absence he felt was only necessary that he welcome Renji with a friendly wake-up greeting that morning.

Reno sighed contentedly, arm wrapped around his unknowing sleeping buddy's shoulder affectionately. He couldn't deny Renji made for a rather comfy pillow, something he had missed while he was away.

Of course, where Reno went, he would convince Ren to join him so, middle of the night this idea came to mind and Ren agreed, just to see Renji’s face when they woke up in the morning. There was always amusement in the simple ideas.

He took the other side but, instead of cuddling up like the redhead was, he just simply fell asleep facing away from them with his arm hanging off the edge. He wasn’t in much of a cuddling mood tonight and the idea of sleeping next to Renji somewhat gave Ren the idea that both he and Reno were sleeping next to either a time bomb or a bear waking up after hibernating.

It’ll still be funny though to watch him go off.

Renji shifted slightly as he started to wake up, his leg brushing against Reno's. It was that contact that really woke Renji up. His eyes opened almost immediately and he found himself staring into a familiar face, also framed by red hair.

Renji's immediate reaction was to jerk up and kick Reno out of his bed, not yet realizing that Ren was on his other side. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!" He felt someone else at his back and looked over his shoulder, his red hair going everywhere, "YOU TOO! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY BED!"

Reno grunted at the rude awakening, instinctively latching on to whatever he could to avoid actually falling over the side of the bed. It was to no avail, however, and with a yelp he crashed onto the floor, a good part of the bedsheet clutched in his hand.

The booming voice earned yet another groan, and he pulled himself back up, arms resting atop the mattress. "Hrrn. Too earlyyyy." He was used to the other redhead's outbursts, so they didn't do much to faze him. Still, he pouted, looking up at Renji with the best kicked puppy imitation he could muster. "Jerk, that's no way to greet a loved one. Especially since I've been gone so. long." for added effect he let out a dejected sigh.

“Will you shut up so I can sleep?” Ren yawned, not moving an inch from his comfy little section of the bed. Judging by the sound of it, Reno just got kicked out of the bed already so it wouldn’t be too long till Ren had to suffer the same fate of getting acquainted once again with the floor. However, Ren just shrugged it off and raised his hand to reach for the blanket that was yanked during Reno’s fall, pulling it over his shoulder tightly. “Man, Renji. It’s too early to be this loud.”

Renji's face was starting to turn a color similar to his hair. He hated when Reno gave him that 'kicked puppy' look. How could a man make a face like that?! Renji scowled at him and pointed an accusing finger at his face, "The hell it isn't! You don't just crawl into my bed without any notice!"

He looked over at Ren again who was apparently attempting to ignore them, well, mostly Renji. "I WOULDN'T BE THIS LOUD IF YOU TWO ASSHOLES WOULDN'T CLIMB INTO MY BED EVERY TIME YOU GOT FRIGGEN' LONELY!"

The scowl only served to fuel Reno's pained expression and he overdramatically winced at the accusatory gesture, his lower lip jutting out ever so slightly. "But I thought it'd be a nice surprise for you. Have you no appreciation of our friendship?"

The pout was quickly replaced by a sly smile however, and he latched onto Renji's hand in an effort to pull himself back onto the bed, conveniently at a rather intimate closeness to the redhead. He then rose an eyebrow, casting a sidelong glance at Ren, who apparently had yet to suffer a meeting with the floor. "I get all the abuse, don't I." a huff escaped him, lose strands of hair falling into his face causing him to look even more pathetic, "We're anything but lonely, Renji~ But I missed my favorite pillow."

Raising his head a bit to look over his shoulder, Ren blinked for a second at Renji.

Oh, he was glaring at him. That’s nice to know.

“Renji you had plenty of notice. Almost 7 years of it,” Ren stated, turning over completely so he was facing the two redheads now, “Besides, you’re always busy with prefect duty during the day. This is the only time we can hang out at all.”

The mention of being lonely had Ren groan and turn on his stomach, face buried into the pillow. “Speak for yourself. I would still be in my bed if Catty was there too,” Ren sighed. He wasn’t going to tell the other two that she hauled herself into her room for the last three days but after the fact that Shalice had caught them, he figured they would think she wasn’t around to make sure they didn’t get in trouble again.

"Just because we're friends doesn't mean we sleep together," Renji groaned, putting his palm to his forehead. How could one boy be so frustrating. Ren had a point though, you'd think after 7 years of this Renji would be used to it. He glared at Ren, "Sleeping in my bed isn't hanging out! It's invading my space! NOW GET OUT OF MY BED!"

He shoved at Ren now, Reno was right after all, it wasn't fair that Ren got to stay in his bed. "Catty's not supposed to be in here anyway. I'm lucky I didn't get in trouble for allowing that to happen." He missed Catty being in their room simply because it meant Ren had stayed out of HIS bed.

Having his bed Ren and Reno free, Renji was about to try to reclaim it when he found Reno in his face again. Renji pulled back. "Haven't you people ever heard of personal space?!"

"No, but it can be a nice perk." Reno smirked, that kind of smile only one of such devious tendencies could muster. "If you don't like it, then you suggest a time for us to hang out!" not that it was going to change his affectionate sleeping habits, but what Ren said was true. They really didn't get much of a chance to hang out otherwise, and he was curious to see if Renji could even come up with another option.

Reno took Tidus' cue to close the distance between him and Renji once again, throwing a friendly arm around him. This time, if he tried to kick him out, he'd be coming right along for the ride. "That's right, oaf. Be nice." and with that he flicked the hotheaded prefect on the side of his head, "How do you plan on ever getting a girl, or guy if that's what you're into, if you can't even enjoy the company of your bestest best buddies?"

And now he was on the floor too, taking the pillow and sheets with him so the fall didn’t hurt that much. Well, atleast Reno got thrown off first again and he had a moment longer to enjoy the comfort of the bed. Of course now he had to de-tangle himself from the mass of blankets that he got caught up in when he got pushed. He was considering giving up and falling back asleep until a more reasonable time of morning but, then he couldn’t bug Renji anymore and that was the whole point of him being there in the first place.

Blinking, he looked up from his spot on the floor to Tidus offering a hug. “Yes please,” He said, able to free his upper body completely from the mass of blankets to hug the blonde. After that, he just went right back onto the bed again to join Reno in bugging the annoyed redhead. “Now that I think about it,” He said, with a thoughtful look and leaned on the muscular shoulder, just to invade that personal space Renji was complaining about even further, “You really don’t hang out with many girls at all.”

Renji knew it wouldn't be long before Tidus or Sado woke up. Renji snorted at Tidus' remark, "I share lots of things...my sleeping space ain't one of them." He rolled his eyes as Tidus moved over to hug Ren.

"That's simple! We can eat lunch and dinner together like NORMAL people," Renji remarked in response to Reno's question. Were his roommates that dense?

Renji didn't bother throwing Reno's arm off of him, though he did flinch a bit when Reno flicked his head. "I'm not into guys," he protested, probably a little more vehemently than necessary. His eyes darted to Ren and he practically flailed. Why did they always do this! "I HANG OUT WITH PLENTY OF GIRLS!"

"What Tidus said." Reno nodded, the blonde's words echoing his thoughts exactly. Hanging out at meal times was hardly what he'd consider enough time spent together. Not to mention the fact that everyone was around during lunch and dinner. Hardly what one would call bonding time.

He cocked his head at Renji's over-exaggerated denial at being interested in men. Then again, this was Renji. He always overreacted. It was ammo, nonetheless. "Hit a sore spot, did we?" Reno couldn't help but snicker, though he really couldn't care less what the other Gryffindor was into. "It's okay, I- we-'d like you anyway."

The idea of helping Renji out with girls perked him right up (as if he weren't lively enough), and he pulled him close, pointing to the horizon in a most heroic, determined pose. "Yes. Renji, by my honor I'll help find you a lady friend to trump all lady friends! She'd have to be quite something, to deal with your outbursts."

He nodded in agreement with the other two, “Yeah dude. You can think of so many times better than that.” Ren barely was there during mealtime anyways and with everyone else talking, it was hard to hear or communicate without shouting. Not a good place for hanging out.

Watching Renji overreact to the smallest things always amused Ren. It was funny for the most part until the redhead said something stupid and just by the subject of this conversation, he had a feeling that it might lead to that.

It was funny to see Reno’s enthusiasm shot up at the idea. “You better agree to him, Renji,” Ren smirked a bit, “Because now he’s not gonna give up until he finds you a girl you like and that the rest of us can tolerate.” It didn’t actually make much sense for Reno to be the one to find a girl for Renji because the dude had never been in a serious relationship and wasn’t really all that picky. Then again, they wouldn’t be looking for that. They would be looking for one girl that could tolerate him and vice versa.
