Jaina smoothed back a strand of brown hair once she descended the steps of the Gryffindor's boys' dorms. Rooming with Harry had been a pleasant experience so far, it was nice to have remotely sane people sharing a room with her, and she was beginning to think of him almost as a surrogate sibling. Despite her likeable roomie, living in Gryffindor still took some getting used to-- like actual couches instead of furniture carved into the walls and the fact that there was sunshine instead of dungeon stones.
She straightened her green and silver tie as she entered the common room, not looking up as she sat down on a sofa absently and tried to redo the knot.
