Classes were over for the day, and dinner was just starting, but Toph Bei Fong was not heading towards the Great Hall like everyone else. Once again, she was bored. So the little Gryffindor decided to go somewhere else for a change. She had heard from other students that the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade was a great place to go for food, so she decided to head there for dinner tonight.
Normally, only students in their third year and higher went to Hogsmeade, but soon after Toph first came to this school, she discovered the secret passages that lead to the small wizarding village not a stone's throw away from Hogwarts. She had often used them to get to Hogsmeade on the scheduled visits, and had successfully blended in with the rest of the students. Going on her own might be a bit more difficult, but she doubted she'd be turned away when she arrived at the pub. The money jingling in her pocket brought enough confidence for that matter.
As everyone else headed for the Great Hall, Toph headed for the statue of the old humped back woman. She pulled out her wand, and chanted the spell to open up the entrance to the secret tunnel that lead to Honeydukes, the candy shop in Hogsmeade.
