He had promised a week of guitar lessons for Haruhi in exchange for his song recording with her voice and also to distract her from that werewolf investigation for a little while (but she doesn’t know that). Sure, he had to admire her curiosity but, sometimes things just needed to be left alone until the guilty party was willing to reveal it themselves. Then again, Ren didn’t expect that to happen any time soon for either side so, he just sat back and watched the wild goose chase from his spot right on the fence.
He just grabbed his electric guitar, a few parchments, both blank ones and those he had filled with lines of music notes and chords. Ren wasn’t sure what Haruhi’s music preference was so he figured he’d just have some basics practice scores and, if necessary, he could write down some songs that he knew by heart for her to practice later. Right now, he was waiting in their common room for her so they could go to a nearby empty classroom or hallway so he could start teaching her.
