The late afternoon sky was a clash of red, orange, pink and white. Yet slowly one by one the stars were coming out with a soft twinkle of a supanova that burned ferociously billions of light years away as the sky of day slowly gave into the seduction of darkness and would eventually leave a velvet black sky that held countless stars against it like they were crushed diamonds.
Afternoon glow seeped through out the grounds of Hogwarts, the dew would soon fall and the night breeze will snake its way through the lands and Hank could only hope the students would remember to bring something warm to wear even though winter had went of its way quite some time ago.
Hank was dressed in a black sweater and matching trousers, by his side sat his companion of 5 years was
Thor (affectionately known as Truffles) who was a strong Belgian shepard and could keep up with Hanks pace in the mornings, his eyes were adorable and innocent like most dogs but sometimes Hank speculated that the dog seemed to know more than what he let on.
Reaching down he scratched behind his ears, Thor loved the children and loved an opportunity to be around them and gave a whine of affection towards his master "C'mon boy, paitence is key!" He encouraged. Behind him was a desk, stacked with envelopes and booklets, naturally he had a jar of pencils because he just knew some of the children would forget to bring them back; and that he would leave tonight with less than he started with.
[ooc: The clues are pretty vague and misleading, there are three things they will need and since theres one for each person or pair their hidden in different places or different groups will have the clue to something thats in one spot so you might have 2-3 groups after the one item.
items:
-Binoculars
- a scroll of charts of various constellations.
- telescope
- Polaroid camera
- compass
...Though Hank fails to mention their transfigured into something else, but rather obviously out of place like a chair hanging from a tree and the spell is easily undone]
