Guess who's back from Manchesteeeeeeer~? Christmas was awesome, y'all! It didn't snow - like it ever snows in Manchester - but that's okay, because Uncle Max and I still had a lot of fun with the tree and the neighbors and stuff ( Read more... )

Bart, don't threaten people. [Pause. Reviews what she just said. 8| Revise!] ...vaguely, in public like that. You'll start something on accident.

Muggle technology? It's not going to explode with all of the magic around?

... So should I edit that? I want people to like Tim. And not be jerkfaces to him.

Nope. Uncle Max charmed it so it wouldn't.

I know - none of us want that... I'm sure people will like him for who he is! Try ... try just saying to welcome him nicely or something instead, but don't make it seem like they have to. Forcing someone to like someone else isn't good. It certainly didn't work on us as first years, remember?

[Excited 8D] So, it'll really work? We could try in the Kitchens, or one of the Muggle Studies classrooms!

Ohhhh! Yeah, I remember. I'll change it then. I'm sure Tim'll like a warmer welcome too.

... Not Mr. Wayne's classroom. He doesn't like me. I'm game with anywhere else.

I'm sure he'll have a nice one.

[That information? Filed away.] Well, we could ask Professor Jones... but the kitchens might be better. It would be easier to access them, I think.

Yeah, and the moogles're always nice about letting us use it for certain things! We'll let Griff know, then.

Basically, I made a bet with him: if I brought back muggle technology, and he liked it, he'll have to take Muggle Studies.

I'm sure the Moogles would like to try it, too.

...you're probably going to win that bet. Try not to overload him.

Heh, probably. [and here's his best impersonation of a Moogle:] 'We're forever grateful for your microwave, kupo! It's sooo useful, kupo! You're our hero, kupo! Three cheers for Mr. Allen! Kupopo!'

.... Oh god I didn't even think about that. Maybe I'll change it to one or two classes and then he'll just learn the rest from me.

You're a bit overconfident in this macrowaver's ability to impress.

That's because it is amazing compared to anything Hogwarts has, scientifically speaking.

I never took you for the scientific type.

When it comes to Muggle tech? I totally am! [Not, but he's super-knowledgeable on Muggle life because he lives among them.]

[She can't help but laugh. xD] Bart! That is why they threw a kupo nut at your head last year.

.....Maybe let him decide? If he needs any help, you can always tutor him for a change.

[pauses for forever in Bart land, which is actually a minute:]

You mean they don't like impersonations? Kupooooooo.

Okay. Though if he asks me for help, I'd totally be the best teacher ever. I do get good grades on class, you know.

[Teasing~]

Making yourself their hero is an impersonation?

[Softly, reassuringly;] I know, Bart - and you'd make a great one.

.... Oh. That. That. Would actually explain all the dirty looks they gave me last year.

[Eee! She can practically hear his grin.] Really? You mean it? Then... yeah, I'll tutor him. But only if he asks, 'cause Griffith can be stubborn sometimes.
