[There are several lines of hastily crossed-out words, illegible. Finally, at the bottom of the page:]

So. What's Hogwarts usually like over the Holidays? I've actually ... never stayed over Christmas before.

Anyone else staying?

First-timer too, huh?

Much as I'd like to stop freezing all my important bits off, I'm staying.

[You can hear a soft chuckle.] Yeah, I guess so.

It's not so bad in some parts of the castle. At least... I'd hope not, unless they turn the heat off after all the kids go home.

Is there... anything organized for the people who stay behind?

They better not.

[a hum] Not that I know of. Suppose it might be a good idea, for the kids at least.

The moogles would probably get upset at the very least.

...Right. For the kids, definitely. [And not... for him because he is totally still a little boy who wants a real Christmas just once.] You think we might be able to throw together something small? Just don't want the kids staying here to feel left out.

It is no different from any other week at Hogwarts, though I believe that something special is, usually, done for .. Christmas. [ He doesn't want to be here any longer than necessary, but Ciel is staying. 8|. ]

Well, I was hoping so. I know the moogles go crazy with decorations.

...You're staying? [He didn't know you celebrated the holiday, Sebastian.]

.. you will be pleasantly surprised, then.
[ Bothersome little rates. ]

I am. I stay by my Master at all times. I am a Butler, after all.

Aren't they on holiday over the break too, though?

Ah. That's right. Well... that'll make things interesting.

Good question. I would assume that it's like any other place celebrating a holiday?

When is Hogwarts ever like any other place?

How true. There will probably be a tree put up, and then some nymphs will probably emerge from it, wishing for revenge.

[someone never had a Christmas :'D]

Nymphs? Maybe angry reindeer. Someone else mentioned cursed mistletoe and that doesn't seem too far off either.

[Omg they can emote together over missed Christmases 8D?]

I'm gonna stay, buddy boy.

It's kinda pointless to go home right after arriving.

Oh. [Pause.] Well, truthfully, I'm sort've glad I'll have another friend around for the holidays. I don't usually... have very many.
